Lack of educational materials in Sierra Leone

Evaluation

Background	The reason why the standard of Sierra Leone's education programs and facilities are so low is because after the civil war ended the government haven’t put enough money, effort or time into rebuilding schools and providing resources.
Needs	To help raise the standards of schooling in Sierra Leone we need to:            Give more money to the government so they can rebuild schools             Train the existing teachers so they can teach better and educate others so they can also teach             Provide more materials such as books, pencils and paper so students can work better in classes
Constraints	Some restrictions I can face are:             Lack of money and resources             Lack of access into the country             Lack of knowledge

Resources Needed	Things I would need to collect to send over to the kids:         Pens         Pencils         Books

Goals

    1. Gather materials to send to schools in Sierra Leone, i.e. pens, pencils and            books

 2.  Send an ‘Education Package’ to a school in Sierra Leone full of materials through the Boundless Hope Foundation

 3.  Donate money through websites such as Boundless Hope so that educational resources can be bought and distributed

Gather all donation materials and pack in box to send to Boundless Hope in America	-          Me -          Anybody who’d like to help me	-          After everyone has donated materials	-          A box to be full of pens, coloured pencils, books and paper to send to a school in Sierra Leone
Send education package to Boundless Hope in America	-          Me -          Help from mum to send it	-          Once all materials have been collected and the package has been made	-          I send it to Boundless Hope and it reaches schools in need in Sierra Leone
Maintain contact with Boundless Hope to see how my education package has helped in schools in Sierra Leone	-          Me -          Boundless Hope Foundation	-          Hopefully in the near future -          Less than 3 months	-          The materials I sent make learning at school easier and more enjoyable for kids in Sierra Leone
